Bosch Rexroth posts turnover growth and expands its order book

Bosch Rexroth, part of the Bosch Group, closed 2017 with revenues of 5.5 billion euros (up 10.4% on 2016) and 27% growth in volume of orders, which have continued to expand in the first few months of 2018.

These outstanding results were achieved thanks to the company’s strategic reorganisation and structural transformation plan, which has enabled it to strengthen its position above all in the fast-growing Mobile Applications and Factory Automation segments. By contrast, growth in the traditional hydraulic sector has remained more moderate.

At a global level Bosch Rexroth has seen biggest growth in the Asia-Pacific region (+20.7%), the Americas (+10%) and Europe (+8.5%). The company’s market share in Vietnam is growing rapidly, while the acquisitions completed in Peru and South Africa in March 2018 have further strengthened its international presence.

The company operates in more than 80 countries worldwide with over 30,500 employees and is now intensifying its efforts and expanding its expertise in the field of integrated technologies for Industry 4.0 applications, with special emphasis on the robotics sector.
