Colorobbia: growth through investment in knowledge

Colorobbia is increasingly committed to developing internal talent as a strategic lever for competitiveness and excellence.

In a constantly evolving industrial landscape where sustainability, innovation and new technologies are the challenges of the future, Colorobbia has chosen to invest in knowledge as a driver of growth and a tool for ensuring long-term development, quality and competitiveness.

This was the vision that inspired the Colorobbia Academy, a project launched in November 2024 with the aim of developing employees’ skills through continuous training. The programme consists of courses and workshops on themes relating to basic research and innovative materials held by in-house lecturers with many years of experience and expertise. The training sessions take place throughout the year, mainly in Italy and Spain. Initially aimed at technical staff, they are gradually being extended to the sales teams.

Colorobbia’s dedication to training is also reflected in its longstanding partnerships with a number of technical institutes and some of Italy’s most prestigious universities (Bologna, Pisa, Florence, Lucca, Trento, Modena and Reggio Emilia, and Parma). In Spain, the collaboration with Jaume I University in Castellón de la Plana led to the naming of the Vittoriano Bitossi Sustainable Innovation Classroom in 2021 in honour of the group’s founder, underscoring the company’s commitment to supporting engineering and chemistry students through scholarships, internships and in-company training focused on sustainable technological innovation projects.

Across its sites in Italy and Spain, the Colorobbia Group now counts 251 graduates, including 43 staff dedicated to R&D, and 12 PhDs. Through continuous training, close cooperation with the academic world and constant investment in research, the group confirms its role as a genuine laboratory of sustainable ideas and technologies.
