The construction industry gathers at Batimatec

Now in its 28th edition, Batimatec serves as a strategic platform for manufacturers and professionals.

From 3 to 7 May 2026, the Palais des Expositions in Algiers will host Batimatec, North Africa’s premier international trade fair for building, construction technologies and materials.

Organised by Batimatec Expo and the Algerian national exhibition company Safex under the patronage of the Ministry of Urban Planning, the event continues to attract significant interest from across the construction value chain, with a growing focus on innovation, sustainability and hi-tech solutions. Now in its 28th edition, Batimatec serves as a strategic platform for manufacturers and professionals and is expected to see the participation of hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors from Algeria, the wider Maghreb, Europe and beyond.

The event will offer a comprehensive technological showcase, ranging from traditional building materials to energy efficiency solutions, innovative construction systems, automation and urban and public infrastructure technologies. A programme of technical conferences, specialist workshops and networking sessions will facilitate knowledge sharing and new B2B partnerships.

The 2025 edition attracted 758 exhibitors, including 424 Algerian and 334 international companies from 16 countries, with Russia and India participating for the first time.
