The technological innovations by Officina Cmc

At Tecnargilla 2004, Officina CMC showcased a series of innovations in the field of handling, storage and dry tile decoration.

The products on display fell into three main areas. The first was a closed-loop system which contained the new S.U.F. 120, a storage device with two independent suction heads to be installed at the kiln exit, and the unique I.E.U. emergency accumulation unit which can be installed directly on the transport line downstream of the kiln unloading machine.

The second area, in the centre of the stand, was visible to visitors as soon as they entereed through either of the two main entrances. It provided a world preview of the Universal Dry Design 1610 decorating machine (also produced in a small version with a decorating front of 730 mm), which offers the highest flexibility and versatility of decoration and is capable of using any kind of spray-dried powders, grains, flakes and micronised powders.
The machine can operate individually or as a set with face, face/random, continuous synchronised random systems and other customised modes, allowing for the production of thousands of uniquely different tiles (or if necessary identical). Display units and panels can be used to showcase products created using the machine and to give an idea of ideal installations.

The third area consisted mainly of a full range of mould and press punch change carriages and the Serie 600 tile collector equipped with the latest types of tile brushing and fettling devices.
