Laminam continues its international growth and expansion strategy with the acquisition of its first plant in Spain. Equipped with SUPERA® slab technology from SITI B&T Group, the factory joins the company’s existing facilities in Italy and Russia.
According to preliminary figures published by Confindustria Ceramica and Prometeia, total sales reached 458 million sqm, up 12% on the pre-Covid year 2019. Exports climbed by 15% against 2020 and by 13% with respect to 2019, while Italian domestic sales returned to growth after 20 years (+9% compared to 2019).
The line, complete with dryers, kiln and an LGV handling system, will form the heart of the new production facility located on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City.
SITI B&T Group has contributed to the expansion of Laminam’s plant in Borgo Val di Taro (Parma) with its technologies for the raw material preparation department.
