ASEAN Ceramics & ASEAN Stone 2025 Concludes Successfully in Bangkok
The exhibition in Bangkok welcomed more than 200 international exhibiting brands and attracted over 3,000 attendees spanning 30 countries, as well as around 300 hosted buyers from Thailand, Vietnam, India, and the rest of Southeast Asia.
The ASEAN Ceramics & ASEAN Stone 2025 Exhibition – held in Bangkok from 15 to 17 October - successfully wrapped up its 9th and 2nd editions respectively, marking another milestone for Southeast Asia’s ceramics and natural stone industries.
Organized by MMI Asia Pte Ltd, a regional subsidiary of Messe München, with support from the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) and in consultation with Asian Exhibition Services Ltd. (AES), the event once again affirmed its position as the region’s largest international gathering for professionals in ceramics and natural stone.
The exhibition welcomed over 200 international brands and more than 3,000 attendees from nearly 30 countries, including 300 hosted buyers from Thailand, Vietnam, India, and across Southeast Asia. The top five visiting markets were India, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Over 400 buyer–seller meetings were successfully conducted throughout the three-day event, fostering valuable business connections and collaborations.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Surapon Plumjai, General Deputy Director of the Department of Industrial Promotion (DIPROM), Ministry of Industry of Thailand, and Mr. Atuk Chirdkiatisak, Chairman of the Ceramics Industry Club (CICT) Federation of Thai Industries (FTI). They were joined by representatives from the Thai Ceramics Society (TCS) and the Vietnam Building Ceramic Association (VIBCA), along with other regional association leaders.
Building on the success of previous editions, this year’s event once again brought together ASEAN Ceramics and ASEAN Stone under one roof—creating a unified marketplace for innovation, technology, and collaboration. Notably, 2025 marked the first time ASEAN Stone was hosted in Thailand, with continued support from Confindustria Marmomacchine, Italy’s premier natural stone association, and the Asia Mining Council of Thailand.
Under the theme “Pioneering a Sustainable & Innovative Future for Ceramics and Stone in Southeast Asia,” exhibitors showcased cutting-edge technologies, machinery, and materials driving the future of the ceramics and natural stone industries.
A key highlight of this edition was the debut of the European Pavilion, featuring exhibitors from Germany, Spain, Portugal, and Italy. Alongside national pavilions from Thailand, China, and Turkey, the show provided a strategic gateway for international companies seeking to enter or expand within the ASEAN market.
The ASEAN Ceramics & ASEAN Stone Conference, held within the exhibition, served as both a knowledge hub and exhibitor forum. Experts explored pathways for innovation, sustainability, and long-term growth within the industry. Topics included:
- Addressing Environmental Challenges and Solutions in the Ceramics Sector
- Kiln Furniture: Principles, Applications, and Market Trends in Asia
- Advanced Polishing Technologies for Engineered Stone.
Participants gained insights into the latest trends in digitalization, production efficiency, and sustainable practices, ensuring the continued advancement of ceramics and stone manufacturing in the region.
Looking Ahead to Hanoi 2026
Following the success of the Bangkok edition, ASEAN Ceramics & ASEAN Stone 2026 will take place in Hanoi, Vietnam, promising to further strengthen cross-border collaboration and innovation in Southeast Asia’s growing ceramics and stone industries.
