Colorobbia’s digital approach takes the spotlight at Cersaie 2022

At the show, Colorobbia presented its increasingly digital and technology-oriented vision inspired by the world’s most famous 3D artists.

Visitors to the Colorobbia booth at Cersaie 2022 were welcomed by a riot of digital colour. The space was dominated by a large video wall that offered observers a truly immersive experience, transporting them into a hidden digital world of colours, lights, sounds and 3D effects.

As one of the leading players in the digital revolution in the ceramic industry, Colorobbia chose the video wall as a tool for underscoring its new digital approach.

During the show, the company also became the world’s first ceramic colour producer to launch an NFT artwork. For this purpose, it organised a live painting show in its booth by Italian artist Alessio Londi, who used a combination of Colorobbia inks to paint a 240x240 cm slab with a translucent ultra-white body. The artwork, entitled Universo liquido (2022), was reproduced in a limited series of 100 copies in NFT format, after which Colorobbia donated the certificates of ownership numbered from 1 to 100 to its most valued customers.

NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) are blockchain certificates attesting to the authenticity and ownership of a unique digital asset. As the name suggests, what distinguishes NFTs from other tokens is the fact that they are non-fungible, in other words they represent something unique and are therefore not interchangeable.
