Diamorph Hob Certec starts up new kiln for XXL rollers

Diamorph Hob Certec, the renowned Czech producer of ceramic rollers based in Horni Briza, has successfully started up an exceptionally large new-generation kiln with useful volume of 150 cubic metres which will be able to produce up to 400,000 rollers/year.

The project is the second and final step in an investment programme initiated in 2016 (the largest in the company’s 22 year history) aimed at increasing production capacity of Hyperoll XXL rollers in response to the surge in demand driven by the growing popularity of large-size tiles and panels.

This investment will make the company even more competitive in terms of delivery times. Further investments are planned for 2018, especially in the field of R&D for new roller bodies so as to offer tile manufacturers an increasingly comprehensive and up-to-date range of products.
