Inter Ser sees strong performance at Tecnargilla

Expanded this year to accommodate an even wider range of products, the Inter Ser stand at Tecnargilla drew large numbers of visitors, including both longstanding customers and potential new partners.

One of the innovations that attracted the greatest interest was the new Thor crusher, designed for installation on sorting lines to handle reject large-format tiles with thicknesses of up to 15 mm. Following its excellent performance at the show, Inter Ser is now in the process of installing the first machines abroad after starting up a number of units in Italian ceramic factories.

The stand also hosted Weflex, a leading company in the development of technological solutions for logistics with which Inter Ser has a close partnership. In particular, it showcased I.Tile, the integrated warehouse logistics system which has already been used for a number of years by leading ceramic sector groups both in Italy and abroad. The solution attracted the interest of many foreign buyers, who were clearly impressed by the very short payback time of less than 3 years.

Examples of the wide range of original spare parts supplied by Inter Ser were also on display, from the original ones for BMR machines to special parts that ensure greater durability and efficiency while reducing machine stoppages.

Tecnargilla 2016 also provided an opportunity to celebrate Inter Ser’s first 20 years of operations. During this time it has achieved steady growth in turnover after building up a reputation as a serious and reliable business partner, consolidating its position in traditional markets and opening up new sales areas. In particular it has established itself as a key partner for the supply of original spare parts to 22 out of 25 of the world’s leading tile manufacturers. The company is headquartered in Vercelli and has a logistics centre in Sassuolo.
