Setec supplies glazing tanks to Ceramica Globo

The new thermostatically controlled glazing tanks for sanitaryware production have been installed at the Globo factory in Fabrica di Roma.

Setec Group is continuing its valuable cooperation with Ceramica Globo, a leading Italian sanitaryware manufacturer. As part of the modernisation programme at its facility in Fabrica di Roma (Viterbo), Globo has installed new thermostatically controlled glazing tanks designed and built by Setec.

The new system allows the temperature of the glaze to be kept constant in both summer and winter, bringing important benefits in terms of the quality and consistency of the glazing process. This is essential for maintaining the optimum rheological characteristics of the glaze and consequently the thickness deposited on the sanitaryware piece.
