A toy building for Made Expo

The building and architecture trade fair event Made Expo (Milan, 4-7 February 2009) will be staging a unique initiative to promote fantasy applied to a futuristic vision of the modern city. Combining the verve and creativity of various architects and artists, a modern Toy Building will be designed and built in parallel with the large exhibition. The toy building will be constructed in Milan, in the Piazzetta Reale alongside Piazza Duomo, and will be a kind of house of wonders which will use light and sound, tricks, magic and special effects to give architecture a novel recreational role.

The building will be opened on the evening of 3 February 2009 and will join the exhibitions and events to be held in Milan to celebrate 100 years since the publication of the Futurist Manifesto by Marinetti.
