Bruno Bettelli named as ACIMAC President-Elected
The successor to Paolo Lamberti at the helm of the Italian association of manufacturers of machinery and equipment for the ceramic industry for the 2026–2030 term will be elected in July during the Annual General Meeting.
The Nomination Committee of ACIMAC (the Italian Association of Manufacturers of Machinery and Equipment for the Ceramic Industry) has identified Bruno Bettelli, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of I‑TECH s.r.l., as the candidate for the Association’s presidency for the 2026–2030 term. The presidential team will include Vice Presidents Simone Sorrentino, Paolo Mongardi and Luca Bazzani.
The Board of Directors, which met on April 29, approved the nomination. The official election will take place on July 9 during the General Assembly, where Bettelli will take over from Paolo Lamberti. This transition comes at a delicate time for the sector, which is called upon to regain momentum in international markets after two difficult years, making the role of a strong and cohesive industry association even more central.
Bettelli brings to the candidacy a solid track record within ACIMAC: first as a member of the Board, then as Vice President. This continuity translates into a deep understanding of the needs of member companies, which represent the backbone of the sector. For the past three years, he has also served as President of Federmacchine, the Italian federation of capital goods manufacturers’ associations, which brings together all industry associations, including ACIMAC, UCIMA, UCIMU and others, a high-profile role within the Italian industrial system.
“The Italian ceramic machinery sector has demonstrated over the decades an extraordinary ability to innovate and to compete successfully in markets worldwide,” said Bruno Bettelli. “ACIMAC plays a fundamental role in supporting member companies in this mission, and together with the presidential team and the entire Board of Directors, I intend to serve this objective with the same passion that has guided me since the beginning of my career in the sector.”
