Cersaie 2013 sees 4.2% growth in international visitors

Cersaie 2013, the international exhibition of ceramic tiles and bathroom furnishings, attracted an average of 20,000 visitors a day, including about half from outside Italy.

International attendance totalled 46,535 from 157 countries, 4.2% more than the 44,640 visitors of 2012. There were also large numbers of international exhibitors (302, a third of the total) from 34 countries, two more than last year (Japan and Slovenia).

Due to the continued crisis in the domestic construction market, the numbers of Italian professionals fell by 12.3% to 54,173 compared to the 61,771 of 2012.

Total attendance at Cersaie was 100,769, 5.7% down on the 106,846 of 2012.

The 32nd edition of Cersaie will be held in Bologna from 22 to 26 September 2014.
