Coverings assigns Best in Show awards

Italy and Spain were the countries on the podium for the 2008 edition of the Coverings Booth Awards, the awards presented by NTP (National Trade Production) in cooperation with the trade associations Confindustria Ceramica (Italy), Ascer (Spain) and TCNA (America) for the best booths at the show.

The Spanish firm Inalco won the grand prize for its replication in America of the elegant and original booth first presented at Cevisama which features all the rooms in a house and makes outstanding use of digital decoration techniques.
Atlas Concorde earned recognition for a booth that excelled in terms of its originality, wealth of details, sober elegance and sophisticated design.
The Laminam booth was clad with 3 mm ceramic sheets skilfully used to create a highly appealing exhibit.
The Italian company Etruria Design was rewarded for its hallmark colours and bevelled edges which were used as the basis of the booth design.
The other rosettes were presented to the Spanish company Levantina, which operates in the natural stone and ceramic floor tile sector (under the Techlam brand name), the Mexican firm Firenze Tecnoarte (a Lamosa Grupo company) and the US manufacturer of tableware, decorative ceramics and furnishing elements Mackenzie Childs.
