Ettore Riello was recently appointed Chairman of Veronafiere.

In his speech, Riello, the renowned entrepreneur in charge of the holding company of the same name, which employs 2,200 staff and generates turnover of 600 million euros, outlined the priority areas on which his management team plans to focus its efforts: start-up of new events, extension of infrastructures, internationalisation activities and, above all, the creation of services with high added value for exhibitors and visitors alike.

In order to adapt the organisation’s action plan to the current economic scenario, the new Chairman also spoke of the need to concentrate on the partnership agreements between operators, aimed at vertical integration of the various parties in the supply chain, with a view to reducing costs, increasing efficiency and improving the quality of events.
