Ettore Rigo appointed general manager of Marazzi Group in Spain

13/02/07 Ettore Rigo, the new general manager of Marazzi Group in Spain, was offially presented during Cevisama in Valencia. His appointment follows the merger between the Italian multinational’s two Spanish companies, Marazzi and Peñarroya.
Ettore Rigo, 53, has a degree in international political science from the University of Padua and has considerable experience in the sanitaryware and electrical household appliance sectors where he has held the position of general manager for Whirlpool, New Pol and Ideal Standard in Spain and Portugal.

The newly-appointed manager’s objectives include the commercial integration of the two Spanish companies and further consolidation of the group in Spain.
The operation complements the reorganisation of Marazzi Group activities in five business units corresponding to the countries in which the Group has production facilities.
