Franco Stefani one of Ernst & Young entrepreneurs of the year

27/11/06 - Franco Stefani, founding chairman of the System Group of Fiorano Modenese, won the Italian edition of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for the Innovation category last November.
Stefani received the award for “his efforts over the years in developing innovative solutions and technologies that not only revolutionise methods of production but also drive further innovation in the sector”.

The Ernst & Young award is presented to entrepreneurs who have excelled for their talent, enterprise, commitment and contribution to Italian socio-economic growth.
The overall 2006 Italian winner was Roberto Tunioli, vice chairman and managing director of Datalogic, European leader and third largest producer in the world of barcode readers, portable terminals for data collection and RFID technology systems.
