From 18 to 21 June, Gruppo B&T took part in Ceramics China, the long-established trade fair dedicated to ceramic industry technologies held annually in Guangzhou. At its spacious booth, the Italian group showed off its capabilities as a comprehensive plant engineering provider with a display of cutting-edge solutions from across all its brands. During the event’s opening conference, Gruppo B&T also unveiled its latest Industry 4.0 innovations.
Highlights included LAPIS, VENUS and DUNE through-body decoration technologies; digital decoration solutions from Projecta; the SUPERA® mouldless pressing system from Siti; high-definition 3D surfaces created using DRYFIX, MULTIFIX and EFFECTA digital printers from Projecta; TITANIUM® kilns in hybrid hydrogen and full electric configurations from Siti; the VORTEX high-performance lapping machine from Ancora, enhanced by tools and treatments from Diatex and Mec Abrasives; WIZARD sorting line, that can be completed with Magister packaging unit by Siti; and graphic design projects by Digital Design.
Gruppo B&T has had a longstanding presence in China – the most dynamic but also the most challenging and competitive market for ceramic machinery suppliers – through its sales and manufacturing subsidiary B&T Foshan, which produces a wide range of ceramic machinery. To further strengthen its market position, the group led by Fabio Tarozzi recently expanded the Foshan facility to 20,000 square metres, enabling it to deliver advanced, cost-effective solutions to its Chinese customers. This has proved to be a successful strategy, resulting in numerous longstanding partnerships and more than 1,500 kilns installed to date.
Following a packed schedule of trade fairs during the first half of the year, the Formigine-based group is now preparing for its next major showcase: the Fuorisalone bt-SPACE in September.
