Khojaly Brick Factory opens in Azerbaijan
The new, modern and sustainable facility strengthens the brick industry in the country.
On July 18, in the presence of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the Khojaly Brick Factory was inaugurated. The new production facility is located in Dashbulag, in the Khojaly district. The plant, representing an investment of approximately 8.5 million Azerbaijani manats (around 5 million US dollars), marks a strategic step in the economic development of the region.
The factory, using advanced German and Turkish technologies, has an annual capacity of 16.2 million bricks and currently employs 60 workers, with plans to double the workforce in the coming years. Its raw materials comes from the nearby Khojaly clay deposit and the facility covers 10.000 mq.
By combining efficiency, sustainability, and innovation, the Khojaly Brick Factory is setting a new standard for Azerbaijan’s brick industry.
