SITI B&T Group and Ancora in Brazil

Following the recent acquisition of Ancora, from 3 to 6 March SITI B&T Group took part in the Brazilian trade fair Revestir in São Paulo.

The integration of Ancora's solutions for polishing, honing, cutting, grinding and protective treatment of ceramic tiles has further strengthened SITI B&T Group's leadership position in the field of complete plant technology for all stages of the ceramic tile production process.

One of SITI B&T Group's latest investments in Brazil is the opening of the new Barbieri & Tarozzi do Brasil Ltda branch in Mogi Mirim (state of São Paulo), where the two companies will work together closely to promote products and improve the services offered to Brazilian customers.

During Revestir, SITI B&T Group also took part in the forum Tecnargilla do Brazil on Friday 6 March, the annual conference for Brazilian ceramic industry technicians coordinated by Professor Anselmo Boschi in cooperation with the Ceramic Tile Laboratory (LaRC), the Department of Materials Engineering (DEMa) and the Federal University of  San Carlos - UFSCar.

A presentation was given by Marco Ferrari, General Manager of Barbieri & Tarozzi do Brasil, entitled "New equipment and technologies allowing a 30% of energy savings". Enzo Morini, Sales Manager at Ancora, also spoke at the conference, where he outlined group synergies and focus in particular on new products for the end-of-line stage.

SITI B&T Group, a manufacturer of complete plants for the world ceramic industry with an extensive presence in all markets, operates through five divisions: Tile (complete plants for tile production), Projecta Engineering and Digital Design (digital decorating machines and digital graphic design projects), B&T White (complete plants for sanitaryware) and B&T Automation (automated plants for the end-of-line stage).
