After acquiring Terreal’s businesses located in France, Italy, Germany, Spain and the USA, the Austrian building materials giant will become Europe’s leading provider of sustainable roofing solutions.
According to the Acimac-MECS preliminary figures, the Italian ceramic machinery and technology sector is set to record a turnover of € 2.16 billion in 2022 (up 5.2% on 2021) and has already received orders amounting to four months of production in 2023.

In order to significantly boost productivity, the Turkish group Hayal has purchased the largest and most powerful ceramic mills and spray dryers ever launched onto the market, supplied by Sacmi.
The deal will be finalised in the first quarter of 2023 and will establish Mohawk Industries as the market leader in terms of value in Brazil, where it already operates with Eliane.
