Brazil, first glazing course for ceramic technicians23/1/2003 - A training course organised by Acimac in cooperation with the Italian Trade Commission ICE focusing on the ceramic tile glazing process and product defects for Brazilian ceramic industry technicians will be held from 28 to 30 January 2003 in Campinas (100 km from Sao Paulo).

Some sixty technicians will attend the three-day course led by Gianfranco Carnevali and Paolo Panini which will address the following topics: pigments and frits, glaze and engobe rheology, manufacture of colouring pigments, glaze design, glaze defects, and glazing and decoration defects.

Brazil is the largest producer in South America (and the 4th largest in the world) and one of the main outlet markets for Italian technology suppliers.
