Ceramics China 2006

11/05/06 - The twentieth Ceramics China, the most important exhibition in the Asian continent devoted to technologies for the ceramic industry, will be held from 16 to 19 May in the Guangzhou exhibition centre.
More than 30,000 visitors are expected to attend the show, which extends over an exhibit floor of 35,000 square metres and accommodates more than 500 companies from China and the main ceramic producer countries.
Alongside the now internationally known Chinese companies such as Keda, Jumper, Nassetti Asia, Nanhai WanXing, NGY Colour, Z&D Glaze and Dayu Glaze, a number of international colour groups will be taking part including Torrecid, Esmalglass-Itaca and Johnson Matthey, the Anglo-Chinese joint venture Dragon & TC Kilns, and Eriez Magnetics. For the first time at the exhibition there will be two joint pavilions of companies from Brazil and Turkey organised by their respective national ceramic tile manufacturers’ associations.

As usual, there will be numerous foreign exhibitors from countries such as Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, France and Japan. These include 16 Italian technology suppliers exhibiting in an area of more than 1,000 square metres in the joint pavilion organised by Acimac (Italian ceramic plant and machinery manufacturers’ association) and the Italian Trade Commission ICE.

The companies taking part in the pavilion are Air Power Group, Assoprint, Barbieri & Tarozzi, Industrie Bitossi – Colorobbia, BMR, CMF Technology, LB Officine Meccaniche, Luna Abrasivi, Sacmi, Siti Spa, System, Tecnema, Tecno Italia, TSC, Welko and Tecnoferrari.

The halls of the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center are divided into four exhibition sections: raw materials, glazes and colours; western-produced plant and technologies; local manufactured machinery; finished ceramic products.
