Cevisama: Indi Design Competitions receive more than 900 entries

Indi International Competitions, the contest held every year at Cevisama (Valencia, 10-13 February 2009), has received more than 900 entries from designers from all over the world for its 2009 edition.

Consisting of two sections, ceramic tiles and bathroom equipment, the competition has received a larger number of entries than in previous years (the first section up by 89%, the second by 68%).
Entries to the tile section have been submitted by a total of 438 designers (68 from foreign universities).
The bathroom equipment section received 469 entries, including 139 from universities in 19 different foreign countries. This year’s theme is Liquid Dreams, the bathroom as a space for rest, enjoyment and reflection.

The jury, which is made up of well-known designers, will announce the winners in the last week of January.
The top three entries in the ceramic tile section will receive cash prizes of 3,600, 2,400 and 1,200 euro, while those in the bathroom section will receive prizes of 2,500, 2,000 and 1,500 euro.
