Creativitiles: when ceramic become art

14/09/07 - Cersaie, International Exhibition of Ceramic Tiles and Bathroom Furnishings will be celebrating its 25th anniversary from 2 to 6 October this year with "Creativitiles".
Extending over an area of 600 square metres, the "Creativitiles" exhibition will be promoted by Confindustria Ceramica and organised by Edi.Cer.

The exhibition held in the same complex will be dedicated to art this year. The name of the exhibition intends to highlight the polyhedral form of industrial tiles and its capacity to interpret the most diverse suggestions and atmospheres, also in unexplored and celestial environments.
To make this possible, using ceramic products already in use, original artistic interpretations will be re-created, blending scenography and trompe-l’oeil, linked back to 16 famous paintings, among which “The Kiss” by Francesco Hayez, “The Pergola” by Silvestro Lega, “Jeanne Hebuterne” by Amedeo Modigliani, “The Kiss” by Gustav Klimt and “Starry night” by Vincent Van Gogh.

A new partnership between art and industrial ceramics that will seal the start of the next quarter of a century for the Bologna fair, highlighting once again the capacity of the Italian ceramic tile industry to create added quality and emotional surfaces, another regular of the Bologna showroom and Italian made products, which at Cersaie will unveil the surfaces, colours and decors which will distinguish the coming seasons.
