Restyled Ceramic World Web is launched

The new year has brought with it a restyled Ceramic World Web. A new software platform created by the Modena-based firm Expert Web was launched in early 2008 with a new and extremely eye-catching graphic design.

As many readers will already have observed, the new portal is abandoning its fixed homepage in place of three different pages that alternate, offering a wide range of useful information on a single screen. Visitors can choose the page they prefer and set it as their homepage.

A skilful use of colours and html architecture separates contents aimed at industrial users from those targeted at the world of distribution and marketing.

Focus on distribution

The reorganised contents give special attention to the tile and bathroom furniture distribution sector. The page devoted to this sector is characterised by the colour yellow and contains useful sections such as company news, appointments, trade fairs with previews and reports along with coverage of new products in the fields of floor and wall tiles, bathroom furnishing, and the latest installation and surface treatment products. There is also a new space covering showroom furniture and materials for architecture plus features on leading international distributors including short interviews with showroom owners and importers.

The "Ask the Expert" section provides answers to questions on installation and surface treatment.

Spotlight on partner magazines

Another of the new features of the portal will be the section devoted to Ceramic World Web's partner magazines: Tile Italia, Tile International, Brick World Review and Ceramic World Review.

Each magazine, which will also be accessible via a direct address (tileitalia.it, tileinternational.it, brickworldreview.it and ceramicworldreview.it), will have a dedicated space containing useful information for readers and advertisers, summaries, the most interesting articles and previews of forthcoming issues.
