Spectrum and Prism Awards at Coverings 2009: deadline for submissions

The deadline for submission of projects for the Spectrum and Prism awards is Friday 30 January 2009. Now in their 20th edition, the awards will once again be held during Coverings, the pre-eminent North American trade show for ceramic tiles and natural stone, to be held from 21 to 24 April 2009.
The awards competitions are open to all national and international projects completed between January 2005 and December 2008 which demonstrate creativity and achievement in materials and installation.
The Spectrum Awards, which offer total cash prizes of 10,000 dollars to winners in seven categories, will be presented to projects that use ceramic tile, porcelain tile, mosaic and glass tile.

The Prism Awards, with eight categories and total cash prizes of 11,000 dollars, will go to projects that display a skilful use of natural stone.
Both sections have a first prize, awards of merit and special recognition awards.
The Spectrum and Prism Awards 2009 are financed by Coverings and are coordinated by the five associations that sponsor the event: ASCER (Spanish ceramic tile manufacturers’ association), Confindustria Ceramica, CTDA (Ceramic Tile Distributors Association), NTCA (National Tile Contractors Association) and TCNA (Tile Council of North America).
