Tecnargilla 2004 to open on 1 October

15/09/04 – The 19th Tecnargilla, the most important international exhibition of technologies and supplies for the ceramic and brick industries, will open on Friday 1 October in Rimini.
For the following five days, until Tuesday 5 October, it will become the world capital of the ceramic industry.

The show will be attended by manufacturers of tiles, sanitaryware, tableware, bricks and tiles, refractories and artistic and technical ceramic from all over the world, who will have the opportunity to take stock of the latest technical proposals from the suppliers of plant, machinery, raw materials and glazes, and services in the field of ceramic design and aesthetics.
In 2002 there were 29,689 visitors (7% more than at the previous show), including 10,697 foreigners from 84 countries.

Tecnargilla will be larger and more international than the previous show in 2002 and will offer more specialised contents in terms of exhibit offerings. More than 750 exhibitors will be taking part, comprising virtually all the Italian and foreign companies operating in this sector. 35% of these are foreign companies (compared to 30.5% in 2002) from 32 countries. The best represented countries are Germany, Spain, the United States, the UK, France, Portugal, China and Turkey.

The exhibition will occupy a gross floor space of 83,000 square metres (+3.4%) in all 14 halls in the exhibition centre.

There will be two special sections: Kromatech, the section devoted to ceramic colour, design and creativity launched in 2002, and Claytech, an event reserved for brick and tile manufacturing technologies that begins this year.

Ceramic World Web will feature daily updates on the exhibition, the ancillary initiatives and the new technologies that will be unveiled at Tecnargilla. We will be present at the exhibition in hall C5, stand 145-146.
