Tecnargilla 2008 confirms the most comprehensive range of offerings

Ceramic manufacturers are eagerly awaiting the 2008 edition of Tecnargilla, the world's foremost exhibition of supplies to the ceramic industry which will be held in just over six months' time from 30 September to 4 October in Rimini.
The theme sections hosted confirm Tecnargilla's role as the trade fair with the most comprehensive range of product offerings.
Alongside the now well-established sections Kromatech (aesthetics in the ceramic sector) and Claytech (heavy clay technology), the advanced ceramic section Kermat will also be back for the second time.
The themes that will be addressed in the conferences on 1 and 2 October have already been decided. To begin, the "International forum - The new frontiers of ceramic materials" will explore the roadmap for the ceramics of the future: strategies and prospects for companies; ceramic technologies for alternative energy and protection of the environment; sustainable building.

This will be followed by another appointment entitled "Innovative applications of ceramic materials" which will explore themes such as European priorities for tile innovation; high value-added functional materials; nanostructured coatings; reducing machinery vibrations and noise by means of piezoelectric technology devices; geopolymers.

The 2006 edition confirmed Tecnargilla's position as the unchallenged world-leading event with an exhibition space of 90,000 square metres, more than 30,000 visitors (including 11,000 foreigners) and 750 exhibitors (including about 300 from abroad, more than 37%). Similar results are expected in 2008.
