Two-layer kiln supplied to Fincibec Group

02/05/06 - A new two-layer roller kiln entirely built by the Barbieri & Tarozzi Group has been installed at the Monocibec facility in Casiglie which will allow for the daily production of 11,000 sq.m of porcelain tile, bringing the entire production of the Casiglie factory to 5,000,000 sq.m/year.

The new firing line, served by the storage plant, will allow the Fincibec Group to provide a more effective response to demand for high-quality tiles.

The new two-layer kiln is the first to be installed in the Sassuolo cluster by the Barbieri & Tarozzi group. It has highly innovative characteristics that allow for low fuel consumption, higher productivity and greater flexibility in managing the entire production process.

In designing the new kiln, Barbieri & Tarozzi technicians also focused on environmental standards through the use of eco-friendly fibre and low flue gas emissions into the environment. Special care has also been given to the machine’s aesthetic qualities.
