Sustainable sanitaryware manufacturing equipment

Genitec presents GHC 1005, a high-pressure casting system for three-part WC bowls.

Ceramic sanitaryware is expected to meet high standards of sustainability in everyday use. To achieve this objective, sustainability must begin with the industrial production process, including the equipment and systems used to manufacture these products. With this in mind, Genitec offers a range of machinery designed to reduce the environmental impact of production, contributing to the long-term pursuit of environmental, economic and social sustainability.

One of these solutions is the GHC 1005, a high-pressure casting system for three-part WC bowls. By adopting high-pressure technology, the GHC allows for an efficient production process with high productivity while significantly reducing operational disruptions. The system also promotes more efficient use of materials. One of the key strengths of the GHC 1005 is its ability to maximise output per unit time: depending on the conditions of the plant in which it is installed, it can produce between 250 and 350 WC bowls per day.

The system’s structure is equipped with connections capable of withstanding high closing forces and is resistant to the corrosive effects of water and humidity. The control panel is designed for both manual and automatic operation and can be adapted to suit any production requirement. The electrical system includes high-quality motor safety switches and contactors, hydraulic units and relays. All parameters are accessible via a user-friendly control interface, which also features secure access for authorised users and optional remote operation. Mould-related operations are managed by the Genitec PLC.

The system also features special vacuum centrifugal pumps, high-quality piping and actuator valves, as well as a manual casting bench. Optional equipment is also available for integration with a conveyor belt system. For safety purposes, the machine is equipped with visual and audible warning signals activated during movement, as well as an emergency stop switch.

Genitec provides a full suite of basic and advanced support services for its machines, covering everything from initial suitability assessments to maintenance in order to ensure full operational efficiency. Assistance is also available to address technical issues during operation. In short, Genitec offers a comprehensive service designed to help customers achieve the highest levels of production capacity.
