In the short term, the Group intends to strengthen its commercial position in those regions where it is already present (particularly Russia and Algeria), while in the long term it aims to establish a significant presence in the remaining BRIC countries (Brazil, India and China).
Acimac’s 20th National Statistical Survey of the sector reveals double-figure growth. Total turnover was up by 26.2%. Exports performed strongly (+31.3%) and the Italian market also showed a recovery (+9.2%).
The Middle East is the largest market, accounting for 20.5% of total export turnover, followed by the European Union (16.8% of the total) and Others Asia (15.5%)
