Acimac prepares to elect chairman

13/02/04 - Consultations have begun to choose a new chairman for Acimac (Italian Ceramic Plant and Machinery Manufacturers’ Association).

The association’s executive board, which met on 5 February, has appointed the designation committee which will consult with members to choose a successor to outgoing chairman Franco Stefani.
The committee of “three wise men” consists of Ivanno Ligabue (LB Officine Meccaniche), Fausto Tarozzi (Barbieri & Tarozzi Group) and Mauro Poppi (Ipeg), all former Acimac chairmen.

The outcome of the consultations will be submitted to the Executive Board at the next meeting in March. After evaluating the proposals, the Board will confirm the name of the Chairman Designate to be submitted to the Annual General Meeting of Members for approval.
