Bongioanni: when technology creates value
For the Italian company, 2025 was marked by an increase in turnover and strategic investments aimed at expanding into new markets.
Advanced technology, quality and reliability once again proved decisive in strengthening Bongioanni’s global presence in 2025. The year saw further growth in turnover and a particularly strong performance from Bongioanni Stampi.
These results reflect the recognition the company continues to receive from international customers for its more than a century of expertise, the high technological level of its pre-processing and production machinery and the precision and long-term durability of its pressure heads, moulds and dies.
A state-of-the-art production hub
The 50,000 square metre production site in Fossano (Cuneo) remains the nerve centre of the company’s technological and industrial development. In-house departments dedicated to design, precision engineering, automation and software development ensure direct control over quality and significantly shorter lead times. In addition, the incorporation of advanced electronics and intelligent control systems results in the creation of efficient, reliable and easily maintainable plants that meet the highest international standards.
Innovative, sustainable and reliable technologies
In recent years, the company has devoted special attention to the development of wear-resistant linings, particularly for pressure heads and augers. These components are the result of intensive R&D and laboratory testing, carried out with the aim of measuring the tangible benefits that can be obtained in terms of energy savings and reduced wear. The tests identified materials and treatments capable of guaranteeing long-term performance while maintaining an optimal balance between the cost of the lining and the customer’s return on investment. This approach not only aims to achieve maximum wear resistance but also to deliver industrially sustainable solutions with an affordable initial investment and rapid payback thanks to lower energy consumption and reduced maintenance.
Feedback from a number of customers has shown highly significant results, with a BM-lined pressure head delivering average energy savings of around 36% compared to a traditional component. Measured directly under real operating conditions, this figure confirms that the choice of lining not only improves wear resistance but also translates into a concrete, quantifiable reduction in plant energy consumption, with a direct and positive impact on production costs.
Alongside these linings, Bongioanni continues to develop and refine its flagship machinery, such as the Tecno extruder and the Crono roof tile press, which stand as global benchmarks in terms of reliability, performance and operational continuity. These are complemented by the recent launch of the new Cleandy 3.0 die-washing machine, an evolution of a well-established technology that has been further improved in terms of efficiency, ease of use and integration into modern production plants, bringing direct benefits in terms of reduced machine downtime.
Commercial expansion and new markets
In parallel with technical innovation, Bongioanni is making strategic investments in the development of its sales network, with particular attention to new high-potential territories. Expansion efforts are focusing primarily on Central and Southern Asia and Africa, regions with burgeoning markets and growing demand for reliable, technologically advanced solutions. Entry into these markets is being pursued through new customer acquisition strategies, supported by local collaborations and commercial partnerships capable of ensuring a stable regional presence, a better understanding of specific needs and more responsive customer support.
Continuous research and a long-term vision
Ongoing research into materials and new technical solutions for machinery is bringing significant benefits in terms of energy consumption and maintenance, resulting in a measurable reduction in operating costs. In an increasingly competitive industrial landscape, Bongioanni remains committed to innovation with the aim of offering its customers reliable, cost-effective solutions capable of meeting the evolving challenges of the sector.
