Capaccioli ready to assemble large plant for Zozik Group

In accordance with the contractual timeframes, Capaccioli has completed the delivery of plant to Erbil in Iraqi Kurdistan where the Zozik Group’s brand new brick factory is based. In July the last shipment was dispatched from the Italian company’s factory in Sinalunga (Siena), thereby completing the supply contract for the new turnkey plant.

The total investment amounted to around 27 million euros and will raise the Iraqi group’s production capacity from 6 to 60 million pieces/year.

The fully automated plant is equipped with cutting-edge high-efficiency oil combustion systems which deliver excellent results in terms of consumption and emissions. Zozik will manufacture a wide range of products including building bricks, facing bricks with chamfer and hollow blocks of various types and sizes.

Capaccioli is now ready for the next stage which involves assembly and start-up of the entire production line.
