Cersaie, the beginning of the ceramic year

Although held at the beginning of the autumn, the appointment with Cersaie marks the beginning of a new year for the ceramic sector. The Bologna show will unveil the new aesthetic trends that will be repeated - albeit with a few variations to adapt to the different markets - at the tradeshows held in spring 2009. Cersaie thus has the role of market barometer for the coming year.
The show's maturity further contributes to its trendsetting role.

About 1,100 exhibitors will be taking part in the event, including more than 200 foreign companies from 31 countries, in keeping with its strongly international character.
The stands will welcome large numbers of trade visitors, including an extremely high percentage of non-Italians. In 2007 foreign visitors accounted for 29.5% of total attendance of 91,935 and represented 135 different countries.
In total, there will be over 500 ceramic tile manufacturers (almost half the overall number of exhibitors) and some 400 producers of bathroom furniture.

The commercial part of the show will be complemented by the conferences, educational events and the large exhibition held in the Services Centre, for which we will be publishing further details during the next few days.
