Colombia: workshop on industrial cooperation28/03/2003 - A workshop on commercial and industrial cooperation organised by the Italian Trade Commission ICE will be held in Cartagena, Colombia from 24 to 26 April. The workshop will focus in particular on the sectors of ceramic tiles, wood, jewellery, footwear and leather goods, textiles and clothing, foodstuffs and agritourism. Demand for machinery, technology and technical support is particularly high in the Colombian market.

An Italo-Colombian meeting organised by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Productive Activities and the Colombian Embassy will be held on the same days. The meeting will be attended by the Italo-Colombian Chambers of Commerce of the most important cities (Medellin, Calì, Barranquilla and Cartagena), Trade Associations, and financial institutions such as the InterAmerican Development Bank.
