A conference on colour to be held on 19 June in Sassuolo

03/06/2003 - A conference entitled "Colour, pigments and colouring in the ceramic industry" will be held at 2 p.m. on 19 June in the Assopiastrelle Auditorium in Sassuolo.
The event will coincide with the presentation of the eponymous handbook produced by the Italian Ceramic Society in cooperation with Acimac and published by S.A.L.A.

The purpose of the conference is to discuss the main technical aspects regarding the use of colour as a distinctive characteristic of ceramic products, and attendance is free of charge.
Talks given by industry experts will illustrate the subject and provide ideas for further thought and discussion.

The following themes will be addressed:

  • Colour trends in ceramic tiles


  • Trends in the use of pigments in decoration at the pressing stage


  • Trends and prospects for the use of penetrating pigments in the production of porcelain tile


  • Colour/material as a distinctive characteristic of ceramic: potential and new opportunities in relation to trends in architecture


During the conference, the handbook "Colour, pigments and colouring in the ceramic industry" will be available at a promotional price.
