LB supplies scrap recovery line to Brazilian company Biancogres

Scheduled to begin operation in 2023, the line will increase the capacity of the large slab production facility and bring environmental and cost benefits.

LB has signed a major agreement with Biancogres to supply a scrap recovery line for installation at the facility used to produce large technical porcelain slabs (up to 3200 mm in size).

The line is due to be installed by the end of 2023 and will enable the Brazilian ceramic company to recycle scrap by feeding it back into the production process, bringing clear benefits in terms of environmental sustainability, lower costs and increased capacity.

The partnership strengthens LB’s presence in Brazil, the world’s third largest ceramic tile market where demand is increasingly focused on the type of high-quality products guaranteed by LB technologies.
