Tektonica celebrates its tenth edition

The international building and construction show Tektonica, which this year celebrates its 10th anniversary, will soon be opening in Lisbon (20 to 24 May).

Extending over an exhibition space of 50,000 square metres, the show reported a 6.3% increase in attendance at its last edition and represents a comprehensive platform for the major trends in the buildings materials sector and a focal point for the leading local and foreign buyers.

It also showcases ceramic tiles and sanitaryware, bathroom furnishing and parquet.
The expectations for attendance are likewise very promising this year. About 55,000 visitors from more than 35 different countries are expected, along with business delegations from Poland, Romania, Angola, France, Moldavia and the Baltic States.

The programme includes meetings on such topical issues as renewable energy sources (in connection with the new legislation that will come into force in January 2009) and architecture.
