Training courses and workshops in 200313 December 2002 - The foreign training courses, symposia and workshops organised by Acimac (Italian ceramic machinery manufacturers' association) offer an outstanding opportunity for ceramic industry technicians in the host country to meet and exchange ideas with tutors, production process experts and Italian companies presenting new technologies. In 2003 Acimac is organising a packed programme of events for training technicians in the ceramic, heavy clay and sanitaryware industries in countries where the sector is undergoing continuous growth.
The first technological symposium scheduled, the "Training course for ceramic industry technicians (tile basics)", will be held in Vietnam from 24 to 28 February. The dates of the following appointments have not yet been established:

- Brazil: Advanced course and technological symposium
- Iran (Teheran): Advanced training course for ceramic industry technicians (glazing and decoration) and technological symposium
- Russia: Itinerant training course for ceramic industry technicians (tile basics) and technological symposium
- Mexico: Advanced training course and technological symposium
