Gmm USA increases the pace of digitalisation

A new IMAnalytics system has been installed to monitor mills in the USA.

Gmm USA, the American subsidiary of the Gmm Group based in Fiorano Modenese, is continuing its process of digital transformation and has further strengthened its commitment to modernising raw material preparation by installing a second IMAnalytics system at a ceramic plant in the United States.

This new installation confirms the group’s intention to extend the use of smart solutions for collecting and analysing data from grinding lines. The system monitors the motor and gearbox assemblies of three mill drums, a critical area for ensuring consistent ceramic body quality. Thanks to its continuous monitoring architecture, IMAnalytics tracks machine condition in real time and detects abnormalities at an early stage, before they can cause malfunctions or loss of performance.

The platform is establishing itself as a strategic ally for companies looking to adopt predictive, data-driven management of their processes, offering greater operational reliability, more stable grinding parameters, more efficient raw material use and reduced energy waste. The growing adoption of IMAnalytics in the US market consolidates Gmm USA’s role as a key partner for ceramic manufacturers seeking a genuine step forward in the digitalisation of body preparation.
